Fort Benning Family and MWR (Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation) in conjunction with the National Infantry
Museum located in Columbus, Georgia would like to invite you to the Vietnam Veterans Welcome Home Ceremony
and visit the Dignity Memorial Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall. The event will be held at the National Infantry
Museum and Soldier Center at Fort Benning, Saturday, 5 June 2010. The Ceremony at the National Infantry Museum
(NIM) will start 1t 1000. One on the 3/4 size replicas of the National Travelling Vietnam Memorial travelling wall will be
on hand at the National Infantry Museum.
At 1800 there will be a BBQ and celebration on Ft. Benning at Wetherby Field.
Entertainment will include Aaron Tippon, The Doors Tribute Band as well as a Beatles Tribute Band. There will be a
bus service available from The National Infantry Museum to Ft. Benning Concert area.
I have attached a poster and memorandum with a website and further details on the event. We are asking for you to
publicize the event and encourage support to our Veterans who have served.
